Setting Up the Integration

Requirements

• Only 1 Homebase location (no multi-location accounts)
• One wage rate per employee
• Only W2 employees — contractor hours can be tracked in Homebase but will not sync to RUN

Path A: Existing Homebase Customers

1. From within your Homebase account, go to Settings > Payroll Settings > Export Payroll Data > Connect to ADP Run. Copy the Linking Token and click Go to ADP Run Marketplace.
2. In the ADP Marketplace listing, the ADP Connector edition will be selected by default — leave it on this option.
3. Click Edit to open the details form.
4. Check the box that says “I am an existing Homebase user.”
5. Paste the Linking Token into the ADP form field and click Save Details.
6. Complete your purchase. Your ADP account will now be linked to your specific Homebase company.

Path B: ADP Run Customers with No Existing Homebase Account

1. In the ADP Marketplace listing, select a Homebase plan in the ADP Connector by clicking Choose an edition to purchase.
2. Click Edit to open the details form.
3. Leave the “I am an existing Homebase user” checkbox unchecked.
4. Click Save Details — no linking token is needed.
5. Complete your purchase. Homebase will automatically create a new account for you.

How to Sync Your Team

1. Sign in to Homebase and sync the new team member.
2. Go to the Team tab, click Add, and select Import from RUN.

How to Sync Your Timesheets

1. Sign in to your Homebase account.
2. Select the Timesheets tab in the left menu.
3. Resolve any timesheet errors, like missed clock outs and missed breaks.
4. When you are ready to run payroll, click Download in the upper right corner and select Payroll Summaries.
5. Select Download Formatted for ADP.
6. Choose how your business pays out tips. Homebase will export the data into RUN.
7. Sign in to RUN and click the Time Sheet Import icon. Click Combine Payroll and Import.
8. Click Approve (this approves the timesheet import, not payroll).
