Sync employee ID and time cards between Homebase and Square Payroll to make payroll prep a breeze.
Setting Up the Integration
How to Connect Square Payroll to Homebase
- Sign in to your Homebase account.
- Click Settings in the left menu.
- Select Payroll from the navigation options.
- Click Connect next to Square. If you have multiple locations, select the correct Square location to sync.
- All employees registered in your Square account will be imported into your Homebase Team page.

Additional Notes
- Timecards and edits are sent to Square automatically.
- To process payroll, go to your Square Dashboard and click Import Timecards.
- All clock-ins, edits, and deletions sync in real time from the date the integration was set up.
- Homebase cannot export timecards retroactively.
- Adjustments made in Square do not update timecards in Homebase.
