Setting Up the Integration
How to Connect Your Homebase and Gusto Accounts
Sign in to your Homebase account or sign up for a new Homebase account.
Select the Settings tab in the left menu.
Select Payroll from the navigation bar on the left.
Click Connect next to Gusto.
You will be redirected to your Gusto account to finish setup.
If you have multiple locations: make sure to match the Gusto address with the location address in each location. Each location will need to be connected individually in settings.
How to Import Your Team from Gusto
Note: Accounts must be connected first in Payroll settings before employees can be imported.
Sign in to your Homebase account or sign up for a new Homebase account.
Select the Team tab in the left menu.
Select Add in the upper right corner.
Select Import from Gusto.
Newly synced team members with emails will automatically get an invitation to join Homebase. Homebase does not import inactive employees from Gusto.
How to Export Your Timesheets Into Gusto
Sign in to your Homebase account.
Click Timesheets on the left side of your screen.
Set the date range in the upper left to the desired beginning and ending dates.
Click Download in the upper right corner of the page.
Select Payroll Summary for Gusto then click Customize.
Make sure all information is accurate and then click Export to Gusto.
Your timesheets will now appear within the Run Payroll tab of your Gusto account.
