How many employees can I have on Homebase?

Homebase works for teams of all sizes. The Basic plan is free for teams of up to 10 employees operating in one location, though we recommend starting with Essentials to get the most from our shift planning and time tracking tools. If you manage more than 10 employees or expect to grow significantly, the Plus plan adds hiring, retention, and performance tracking tools.

Is payroll available on all plans?

Yes. Payroll is available as an add-on on all plans for a standard $39 base fee per month plus $6 per employee paid per month, no matter which Homebase plan you choose. Combined with a Homebase plan, payroll uses integrated time tracking to calculate wages, make direct payments, and automatically file taxes.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later if I change my mind?

Yes. You can change your Homebase plan at any time, and the newly chosen plan is activated at the start of the next billing cycle.

What happens after the free All-in-One 14-day trial?

If you don't have a plan selected at the end of your 14-day free All-in-One trial, you'll automatically switch to the free Basic plan. If you have a team of more than 10 employees or more than one location, you'll be asked to sign up for the Essentials, Plus, or All-in-One plan.
