Yes. Crews clock in on the mobile app (GPS / optional geofence) or on approved time clocks; managers review timesheets; then payroll is run in a few clicks—including on mobile. Because it’s one platform, there’s no exporting or re-typing hours.
Yes. You can run payroll across multiple locations that share the same FEIN, and Homebase supports multi-state withholding & reciprocity plus files many federal, state, and local payroll tax forms—with copies of filings and payments available in your account. For overtime, you can also track OT across locations within a multi-location account.
Homebase provides recorded trainings, webinars, and 1:1 walkthroughs, and for customers switching providers, setup can be as little as 5 business days (7 business days from the first check date). You’ll also provide required year-to-date payroll history so taxes and year-end forms are accurate. Homebase imports each wage rate worked (separate lines in payroll) and calculates overtime using a weighted/blended rate—aligned with DOL methodology. Those blended rates are then used for OT/PTO calculations so gross wages are accurate.
